I'm soooooooooo inspired. This course was really the best thing we could give ourselves preparing to meet and 'breath out' our baby. It was done over two days and spread evenly and logically. I enjoyed both days very much; the people, the atmosphere and mostly the instructor - Halienthe.
It was very good idea to read the book (or at least the first 50 pages) before coming to the course because it meant that people came with the right mind set and ready to learn.
there were few people who weren't convinced but already after the first day you could see they are turning into fans of the method.

It requires a lot of practice so it doesn't end with these two days, and my partner and I found out that you can practice almost everywhere, at home, in the car, on the bus...
I'm feeling much more confident now and really looking forward to experience this. I still get a lot of resistance from people around me but I do not let it bring me down, mainly because I know somehing they don't - the secret of a safe, smooth, magical birth!

The only little, tiny downside of the course was it's location. Hampstead is lovely and the facility was great, but parking is a really silly thing on Saturday. For that, Helianthe gave us a map with a free parking spot (10min walk) which actually turned out to be quite a nice walk.

Halienthe is just amazing. We went after reading a bit about hypnobirthing from a book. She is so inspiring and intuitive it was an absolute pleasure to be in her course. It didn't only prepare us for the wonderful birth we are going to have, but we also met very nice people whom I hope we will stay in touch with through the forum, and it also bonded us more as a couple. It's now just not about my partner's birth, but about all 3 of us and how we are going to get through it. From arriving there in trepidation, we are now practicing, expecting and excited about the wonderful birth we are going to have.....

I am 28 weeks pregnant and I went to Hynobirthing as I heard it can help with giving birth naturally and take away a lot of pain associated with childbirth. I have found Helianthe's Hypnobirthing classes life changing. In everyday life I have been surrounded with people who are all too happy to try to frighten the living day lights out of pregnant women but Helianthe, her techniques and her encouragement have dispelled my fears. Both my husband and I have found the classes invaluable in as much as we are working together to create a unique and magical birth for our son or daughter.
My husband was a bit of a sceptic before he attended the classes and I think he went along to humour me. Now he is so excited about meeting our baby and the techniques have taught him how he can be a major part of the birth, he is always so encouraging but the classes have given him the tools to be more than a bystander.
For me, I now believe it is possible to give birth without drugs and excruciating pain. We do have to put it a bit of practise to achieve the desired results but nothing worthwhile in life ever comes without putting in at least a little work.
I am due on the 27th Jan so I will write again when I have had the baby and let you know how it went.

Halienthe is exceptional! She knows her stuff through and through. I didnt' know what to expect but she inspires so much trust and confidence. I knew from the first 5 minutes we were doing the right thing. It was worth every minute and I highly recommend her to anyone who wants the most pleasant and pain-free birth.
