Re: Couple consultant - maybe a book?

Hi Jeandow

I have worked with people who have relationship issues and have written an e-book on the subject "How to find the ideal partner" which has been very well received for those  looking or already in a relationship. you can both go through it together or independantly and it will help to give you the answers you need. After all you are the ones who have the answers no one else, when you are presented with the right questions it will be found. Link below.

Hi rogermillar

I am already in a relationship, but im intruiged, why do you think your e-book has been received so well? Obviously you are biased, but what are the unique selling points of your book?

Re: Couple consultant - maybe a book?

I have to say you are so right. Looking at the relationship long term allows you to go through a much deeper transformation because you are not thinking about your personal here and now, but about the relationship's long term good. It's a completely different perspective...

I am constantly learning from my partner. I always thought my way was the best, but it's not, as I've found out. There are other ways, not better, not worse, but different. And that's ok. Once I allowed myself to see things differently, I didn't feel the need to defend myself all the time. As paradoxical as it sounds, it was easier to see things differently....if you know what i mean.

Re: Couple consultant - maybe a book?

Hi Jeandow

I am joining this conversation at a late stage but I hope I can help a little. I work with families and relationships are at the heart of every family.

In your case I would make just one suggestion, talk and listen. Listening being the most important part of your relationship; learn to hear what your partner is saying, not just the superficial but what is being said from the heart. Your understanding of this person and how he/she relates to you will become clear.

Best of luck and love
